Sharon and I headed over to St Anne's Park Clontarf yesterday for the celebrations of the Battle of Clontarf which took place 1000 years ago, see more information here. Fortunately it was a fantastic day, someone had only told us that this day last year we had snow! How things change and in this case for the better. There were battle reconstructions, a Viking village and food stalls, who did more business than they ever expected, it being such a great day.
