Short Holiday in West Cork

With then end of lockdown and so many of our travel plans for 2020 ruined with Covid-19, we took a short break in West Cork for 3 nights. Fortunately we had lovely weather, and armed with a list of places to visit (thank you Noelle & David), we headed off. West Cork is beautiful and the food is excellent. Protocols and the atmosphere post lock down were a bit strange. But our hotel managed well, strict times for eating, and a one way systems around the hotel. We visited some lovely spots, but didn‘t get to visit everywhere on the list, always good to have a reason to call back! We visited, Three Castle Head, a tough trek uphill but well worth it, Mizen Head, Baltimore (lovely restaurants), Glandore, Union Hall, Lough Hyne, Bantry, and perhaps my favourite Gougane Barra. Here are some photos which I hope you enjoy. To see larger verions click of an image navigate through the gallery.
